Clos des Fous 2021 ‘Pour Ma Gueule’ Itata Valley

Clos des Fous is a maverick Chilean project founded by a group of leading winemakers to rediscover the country's forgotten cool-climate and southern terroirs, working with old, dry-farmed vines far from Chile's mainstream Central Valley style.

'Pour Ma Gueule' 2021 is a red field blend from old vines in the Itata Valley, in the loose, low-intervention style the valley is known for, built around heritage varieties such as Cinsault and País.

Expect a fresh, vibrant, savoury red with juicy red fruit, a rustic, mineral edge and light, gulpable tannins — an easy-drinking, characterful style built for the table rather than the cellar.
