Deanston 18 Year Old

Deanston distillery sits on the banks of the River Teith in the Highlands, housed in a converted 18th-century cotton mill and powered by its own hydro-electric turbine. The distillery's spring water and hands-on, traditional methods give its single malts a full-bodied, honeyed character.

The 18 Year Old is matured for the majority of its life in hogshead casks before finishing in first-fill bourbon barrels from Kentucky. It is bottled non-chill filtered and with natural colour at 46.3% ABV.

The nose is light and fruity with pear, melon and mild vanilla alongside caramel and toffee. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with orchard fruits, honey and buttery spice giving way to a hint of aniseed.
