The vintage. 2008 was an unusual year in a sun-drenched decade: grey, overcast skies held through spring and summer, before a late burst of fine September weather rescued the harvest and delivered grapes of remarkable tension and balance. Dom Pérignon Rosé seizes the red of Pinot Noir in a bold, assertive assemblage, then rests for nearly twelve years in the cellar before release.

Tasting notes

• Nose: raspberry and wild strawberry, with powdery iris and violet, opening to greener notes of angelica.
• Palate: silky, concentrated red fruit with blood orange and a fine, well-integrated acidity.
• Finish: long and lingering, with peony and white pepper.
