Dom Perignon Vintage 2015

Dom Pérignon is Moet & Chandon's prestige cuvée, released only in exceptional vintage years and crafted entirely from Grand Cru Pinot Noir and Chardonnay across the Champagne region.

The 2015 vintage followed a cold, wet winter and a gray, rainy spring that delayed budding by around two weeks, before an exceptionally hot and sunny summer — the sunniest on record in Champagne — brought the grapes to excellent ripeness. Harvest began in late September, yielding fruit with a promising balance of acidity and full body.

The blend reveals a resonance between Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, opening with a precise, elegant, powdery bouquet of citrus, a vegetal facet and spice. After an ethereal attack, the wine amplifies and blossoms into a clean, luminous finish.

Wine Spectator scored the 2015 vintage 96 points, James Suckling awarded 97 points, and Vinous (Antonio Galloni) rated it 95 points.
