Familia Castaño farms high-altitude vineyards in Yecla, in the arid uplands of Murcia, south-eastern Spain, a region built on old-vine Monastrell.

Casa Cisca 2014 is 100% Monastrell, aged around 16 months in a combination of American and French oak, adding depth and structure to the wine's naturally bold fruit.

Rich and concentrated, it offers ripe red and black fruit layered with cocoa, tobacco and sweet spice. The palate is full-bodied, with silky tannins, balanced acidity and a long, smooth finish.
