Tasting Notes

Deep amber in colour with golden highlights, the nose opens with enticing aromas of toasted almonds, walnuts, dried figs, dates and caramel, followed by elegant hints of orange peel, vanilla and sweet baking spice.

On the palate, layers of hazelnut, honey, butterscotch, brioche and dried fruits are beautifully balanced by vibrant acidity. The semi-dry style provides richness without excessive sweetness, leading to an exceptionally long, silky finish with lingering notes of toasted oak and roasted nuts.

Production

Produced exclusively in western Sicily using carefully selected Grillo grapes, Florio ages this Marsala in traditional oak casks for over ten years.
