Fresh Air 37 Year Old Legacy Collection

House of Hazelwood is the private cask archive of the Gordon family, owners of William Grant & Sons, comprising rare and aged Scotch whisky drawn from distilleries across every whisky-producing region of Scotland. Selections are hand-picked and released in small batches through the Legacy Collection, each bottling telling the story of a particular parcel of stock.

Fresh Air is a 37 year old blended grain Scotch whisky drawn from casks across the House of Hazelwood archive and matured in American white oak. Released as part of the Legacy Collection's Autumn 2022 series, it showcases the light, ethereal character that decades of quiet ageing in grain casks can produce.

The nose is delicate and impressively deep, with fresh mint and mild spice mingling with cereal and oak on the palate, closing on a long, clean finish.
