Glenfarclas 15 Year Old 105 British Proof Decanter (Cask #933)

In 2022 Glenfarclas began a five-year project: one unusual release each year, reflecting the five generations of the Grant family who have owned and operated the distillery since 1865. The 15 Year Old 105 British Proof completes the collection.

This year's decanter comes from a single first fill Oloroso sherry butt, Cask #933. Distilled on 11 April 2011, the whisky spent a full 15 years in that one cask before being bottled on 30 June 2026, at natural colour and its natural cask strength of 60% ABV (105° British proof). Glenfarclas in its purest form.

John Grant, fifth-generation family owner and Chairman, makes no secret of the fact that the 15 Year Old is his favourite expression in the core range. This is a powerful, uncompromising sherry bomb and a fitting way to close the series. As with the previous four editions, it is presented in a Glencairn crystal decanter.
