Sourced from historic, pre-phylloxera "Grandfathers" vines planted around 1860 in South Australia’s Eden Valley, Henschke’s Hill of Grace stands as one of the world's most revered single-vineyard wines. Hailed by winemakers and critics as an all-time classic vintage—drawing comparisons to legendary years such as 1986, 2005, and 2015—the 2021 release showcases extraordinary purity, architectural balance, and profound complexity.

In the glass, it presents a luminous deep crimson-ruby hue with bright magenta reflections. The nose is a complex perfume of dark plum, blackberry, and black cherry, interwoven with characteristic Eden Valley sage, mace, panforte, dark chocolate, graphite, and crushed quartz. On the palate, the wine possesses breathtaking scale without heaviness, delivering an effortless, satiny texture. Layers of ripe dark berries and fine spices are supported by a bright mineral core and cascading, featherweight tannins that flow into a remarkably persistent finish.

Farmed according to strict organic and biodynamic principles, the 2021 Hill of Grace is a monumental benchmark for Australian fine wine, built for multi-decade cellaring.
