Kaiken Ultra Malbec 2021

Kaiken was founded by the Aresti family, drawing on grapes from some of Mendoza's most celebrated high-altitude vineyards — Los Chacayes, Altamira and Gualtallary — to craft premium, terroir-focused Argentine reds.

Kaiken Ultra Malbec 2021 is a single-varietal Malbec sourced from these sites, deep and almost inky ruby in the glass.

A bouquet of rich plum and blackberry is layered with subtle floral accents, black pepper and toasted oak. On the palate it's full-bodied yet seamless, with velvety tannins, vibrant acidity and complex flavours of dark fruit, coffee, thyme and gentle mocha, leading to a long, polished finish with lingering herbal and spice notes.

Named #30 in Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of 2024, the highest-ranked Argentine wine on the list, and rated 92 points by Wine Spectator.
