King's Inch Single Cask Sherry Edition

King's Inch is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky distilled in Glasgow, created by Jack Mayo using water drawn from Loch Katrine. The brand's whiskies are traditionally matured in a combination of first-fill Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez and Kentucky bourbon barrels, producing a rich, fruit-driven house style.

This Single Cask Sherry Edition was released to mark King's Inch's first anniversary since launch. Distilled in October 2015 and bottled in November 2022, it spent 7 years maturing in a single Oloroso sherry butt (Cask No. 53), yielding just 586 bottles. It is bottled at high natural strength - 58% ABV - without colouring or chill-filtration, and each bottle and box is hand numbered.

Nose: Macerated dark fruits with cream.
Palate: Warm wintery spices with crunchy Demerara sugar.
Finish: Long, carrying the same rich sweetness through to the end.
