Linkwood distillery, founded in 1821 near Elgin in Speyside, is celebrated for producing an exceptionally elegant, floral new-make spirit. Little of it is ever bottled as single malt - most disappears into blends - making rare independent releases like this one highly sought after by collectors.

Part of Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice series, this is a vintage 1991 Linkwood that spent 30 years maturing in a first-fill sherry butt. Just 549 bottles were filled from cask #7268, bottled at 53.1% ABV.
