Lochlea Harvest Edition 3rd Crop

Lochlea is an independent, family-run farm distillery in the Lowlands of Ayrshire, founded in 2018 by Neil McGeoch on the farm where the poet Robert Burns once lived and worked. As a working farm, Lochlea's seasonal small-batch releases tie in with exactly what is happening on the land at that time of year.

Harvest Edition (Third Crop) is the second in Lochlea's final set of four seasonal limited editions, marking the end of the Seasonal trilogy and tying in with the barley harvest on the farm. Double matured in refill bourbon barrels and port hogsheads alongside an Oloroso sherry butt, and bottled at 46% ABV, it offers a different take on the sweet, summery Harvest profile.

Nose: Bright red grapes, fresh strawberry jam and clotted cream.
Palate: Sweet baked apple pie and white chocolate.
Finish: Beautifully balanced, with savoury notes of cracked black pepper.
