Lochlea is an independent, family-run farm distillery in the Lowlands of Ayrshire, founded in 2018 by Neil McGeoch on the farm where the poet Robert Burns once lived and worked. As a working farm, Lochlea's seasonal small-batch releases tie in with exactly what is happening on the land at that time of year.

Harvest Edition (First Crop) is the second in an annual series of limited seasonal bottlings, reflecting the end of summer when the golden barley is ready for harvest - the coral red label echoes the deep, sunset hue of the Ayrshire soil once the barley is in. Matured across port, Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, and bottled at 46% ABV.

Nose: Strawberries and toasted marshmallow.
Palate: Stewed apples, pear drops and oat biscuits.
Finish: Lochlea's signature cereal character and freshly cut grass.

Region: Lowland  |  Style: Single Malt  |  ABV: 46%  |  Size: 700ml  |  Cask: Port - Oloroso Sherry - Bourbon
