Lochlea is an independent, family-run farm distillery in the Lowlands of Ayrshire, founded in 2018 by Neil McGeoch on the farm where the poet Robert Burns once lived and worked. As a working farm, Lochlea's seasonal small-batch releases tie in with exactly what is happening on the land at that time of year.

Sowing Edition is the first of Lochlea's four original seasonal releases, named for March, when the barley seed for that year's crop is sown. It is matured 100% in first-fill bourbon casks and bottled at 48% ABV.

Region: Lowland  |  Style: Single Malt  |  ABV: 48%  |  Size: 700ml  |  Cask: First-Fill Bourbon
