Macallan Harmony Collection Intense Arabica

The Macallan distillery, on the banks of the River Spey near Craigellachie, is renowned worldwide for its uncompromising focus on sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, producing some of the richest, most sought-after single malts in Scotch whisky.

Intense Arabica is the second release in The Macallan's limited annual Harmony Collection, and its first coffee-inspired single malt. This no-age-statement whisky was matured in sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks and bottled at 44% ABV, developed with expert coffee growers to create a whisky that pairs with a morning espresso. Each release in the collection features bespoke packaging incorporating organic by-products.

Nose: Tiramisu, cappuccino, gingerbread, raisins, almonds, sweet oak and vanilla.
Palate: Espresso, dark chocolate, raisin, blackberry, vanilla and Brazil nut.
Finish: Long, balanced and sweet, with dark roast coffee.
