Macallan Speymalt 18 Year Old Cask #9620

Gordon & MacPhail, established in Elgin in 1895, is Scotland's oldest independent whisky bottler and holds one of the finest private stocks of mature Macallan casks in existence. Their Speymalt range presents single malts distilled at The Macallan under Gordon & MacPhail's own maturation and bottling.

Distilled in 2006 and matured for 18 years in a first-fill sherry butt, Cask #9620 was bottled at cask strength - 61.3% ABV - with just 585 bottles produced worldwide. An 18 Year Old Macallan typically retails for around £350, making this rare single-cask Gordon & MacPhail bottling excellent value for the quality in the glass.

Nose: Rich layers of dark chocolate, clementine and fragrant cinnamon.
Palate: Fruit cake and toffee.
Finish: Mature oak, ginger and dried banana.
