Maker’s Mark Star Hill Farm Inaugural 2025 Wheat Whisky

Star Hill Farm Whisky marks a genuine first for the Maker’s Mark distillery: its first new mash bill and its first wheat whisky, distilled and matured at the historic Star Hill Farm site in Loretto, Kentucky. The release celebrates the regenerative agriculture practised on the farm, where healthier soil is credited with contributing to a richer, more distinctive spirit.

This inaugural 2025 release marries two wheat-forward mash bills — one of 70% soft red winter wheat and 30% malted barley, the other 100% malted soft red winter wheat — with no rye or corn, bottled at cask strength for a softer, sweeter character in the Maker’s Mark tradition.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Buttery caramel, golden raisins and gingerbread.
Palate: Honeyed toffee, chocolate-covered cherries and apple pie spice.
