Rampur Asava 50ml

Rampur is an Indian single malt distillery based in Uttar Pradesh at the foothills of the Himalayas, where extreme temperature swings accelerate maturation and produce a bold, complex whisky style. Asava was the world’s first whisky finished in Indian Cabernet Sauvignon casks, distilled from 100% Indian barley in traditional copper pot stills.

Matured in American bourbon barrels and meticulously finished in Indian Cabernet Sauvignon casks, this unique expression delivers an impeccable sense of balance and character.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Signature tropical fruit notes of Rampur layered with apricot, blackberry and plum, followed by subtle hints of tobacco and warming spice.
Palate: Velvety and richly textured, with manuka honey sweetness complemented by spicy oak and vanilla, balanced by the gentle dryness imparted by the Indian red wine casks.
Finish: A lingering Indian influence remains, with a refined, medium-length finish.
