Royal Brackla 21 Year Old 70cl

Founded in 1812 near Nairn, Royal Brackla was the first distillery ever granted a Royal Warrant, by King William IV in 1835, earning it the nickname "The King's Own Whisky." It remains a favourite among blenders for its fruity, elegant Highland character.

This 21 Year Old is finished across a triple combination of Oloroso, Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered. The nose is deep and fragrant with aged leather, pipe tobacco, crystallised ginger, poached pear and dark honey. The oily, age-worn palate brings dark fruit cake, orange marmalade, toasted almond and rum-soaked raisin, finishing very long, warm and dry with dark cocoa and sweet tobacco smoke.
