Smokehead is Ian Macleod Distillers’ tribute to the big, bold, peat-driven whiskies of Islay, sourced from an undisclosed island distillery and built for drinkers who want their whisky loud and unapologetic.

High Voltage turns the intensity up further still — deeply rich and intensely peaty, hitting all the senses with a rush of black smoke, creamy nutty notes and a tangy sea salt finish. Explosive and reserved for those who go all out, no matter what others think.

Tasting Notes
Notes of vanilla and marzipan alongside vegetal peat, green olives, brine and almond paste, with soft whispers of raw oak and lemon peel.
