The English 7 Year Old 2014 20cl

The English Whisky Co. distils at St George’s Distillery in Norfolk, England’s first licensed whisky distillery in over a century. This independently selected single cask, bottled by GreatDrams as their first “new world” whisky pick, was matured for its entire life at the distillery — four years in an American oak ex-bourbon barrel, then finished in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.

Only 264 bottles were produced from this cask; we hold a small allocation of 20cl bottles, perfect for gifting. Awarded a Gold Medal (95 points) at the IWSC Awards 2024.

Tasting Notes
Rich chocolate and dried fruits on the nose, with gingerbread, fruitcake, spicy raisins and a hint of rosemary on the palate.
