The second release from The English Distillery's Small Batch range in 2025 is going to be a favourite for the sherry cask hounds. Drawn from a series of casks and having a slightly lower peating level than our norm, this single malt whisky is perfect for a cold evening. 

In a distillery that already limits batch sizes to ensure that every whisky made is exceptional, The English Small Batch range takes it to the next level. These limited releases showcase the expertise of the distillery team in using various techniques to bring out the depth of flavours in their exceptional stocks of single malt whiskies.

Lots of burnt sugar, rich toffee and sweet smoke; gaining apples with the addition of water

The Palate

A rich palate with smooth, pronounced notes of smoke, smoked apple, cinnamon, vanilla, dried fruits and orange peel
