The Macallan has distilled single malt Scotch whisky at its Speyside estate since 1824, built on an unwavering commitment to sherry-seasoned oak casks and precise spirit selection. The Distil Your World series sees Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell collaborate with world-renowned chefs to translate the character of great cities into whisky.
The Paris Edition, created in collaboration with the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca — twice named the World's Best Restaurant — captures the essence of the French capital, from its patisseries and flower markets to its deep-rooted culture of fine gastronomy. The whisky was matured in a selection of European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks and ex-bourbon casks, balanced with a subtle influence of rare Cognac casks to honour the heritage of French spirits.
