Crafted in exclusive collaboration with the renowned purveyors at JING Tea, this fifth installment in the highly collectible Harmony Collection draws its vivid inspiration from Phoenix Honey Orchid—an iconic, complex oolong tea celebrated for its lush, dessert-wine aromas and vibrant, exotic fruit notes.

A Masterful Cask Fusion with Sustainable Design

To emulate the delicate, multifaceted layers of fine tea, The Macallan’s whisky-making team predominantly selected sherry-seasoned American oak casks to infuse the spirit with lush vanilla, honey, and soft spice. This was masterfully balanced with sherry-seasoned European oak and a subtle inclusion of ex-bourbon casks to achieve a brilliant, dessert-like complexity.

True to the eco-conscious DNA of the collection, the presentation box and bottle labels feature a beautifully tactile, sustainable design that repurposes organic, discarded waste tea leaves.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Warm, golden honey.

Nose: Delightfully summery and fragrant. Heady aromas of ripe peach, juicy apricot, and floral meadow honey seamlessly intertwine with tropical fruits, soft toffee, and sweet, toasted oak.

Palate: Rich and texturally oily. Fresh orchard peaches in rich syrup and warm citrus zest lead the charge, balanced by buttery toffee and light, elegant floral notes that evolve into a delicate, leafy astringency.
