The Macallan Harmony Collection VI – Inspired by Fresh Coconut, 70cl

The sixth and concluding release in The Macallan Harmony Collection, Inspired by Fresh Coconut is a single malt of real character and considerable skill. The Whisky Mastery Team set out to bring tropical coconut, zesty lime and tropical fruit notes to the fore, without the confines of age – and the result is a rare and playful expression that closes the Harmony series in style.

Matured exclusively in first-fill American oak (Quercus Alba), including casks that previously held bourbon alongside sherry-seasoned American oak, this whisky draws out the naturally inherent coconut lactones in the wood. The bourbon casks finesse the profile, allowing the coconut note to shine through without overwhelming what remains a definitive Macallan single malt. Bottled at 46.3% ABV – the .3 a playful nod to the coconut's three germination "eyes".

Tasting Notes

Colour: King Coconut

Aroma: Fresh coconut, zesty lime, citrus notes of lemon and orange, tropical mango and papaya, layered with vanilla, almond, sweet oak, and a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon.

Palate: Sweet lime, lemon and vanilla sponge with desiccated coconut, icing sugar, coconut milk, sweet oak and dried tropical fruits, with bursts of floral honey.

Finish: Coconut and floral honey, with gentle, lingering, warm notes creating a bright, smooth tropical finish.

A striking series finale for collectors of The Macallan Harmony Collection, and an excellent introduction for drinkers trading up from 12-year-old expressions in search of exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Stock is limited.
