The Macallan Red Collection 50 Year Old is one of the most exclusive single malts ever released by the distillery, distilled in 1970 and matured for five full decades in sherry-seasoned oak.

The nose opens with antique oak, soft leather and light floral notes over rich cocoa, black cherry and ginger. On the palate, dried fruits and warm wood spice give way to dates, dark chocolate, orange oil and sultanas, finishing long and complex with raisins, dates and crème brûlée. Bottled at 45.1% ABV.

The distinctive red hue nods to The Macallan's 1903 'Choice Old' range and is brought to life on the box artwork by acclaimed illustrator Javi Aznarez. Each bottle is housed in a handcrafted oak box, cushioned in sustainably sourced red Scottish leather.
