Please note dispatch is estimated to be 4 days as we need to organise private transport for the bottle given its rarity.

Fewer than 200 bottles exist of this extraordinary 73 Year Old — one of the oldest whiskies The Macallan has ever bottled. The spirit was laid down in cask on 10th November 1950 and left to mature for over seven decades before being released at the peak of its richness.

An intricate nose of antique oak, apricot jam, fine liquorice and treacle tart leads into a sweet, mouth-coating palate of dates, gentle woodsmoke and bittersweet treacle toffee, closing on soft tannins and subtle spice. Bottled at a remarkable 44.9% ABV for a whisky of this age.

Each bottle is hand-finished and bears the signature of The Macallan's Lead Whisky Maker, Euan Kennedy, presented in a handcrafted oak box upholstered in Scottish leather by Bridge of Weir.

  • Distillery: The Macallan, Speyside
  • Age: 73 Years Old (laid down 10 November 1950)
  • ABV: 44.9%
  • Volume: 700ml
  • Edition size: Fewer than 200 bottles worldwide

An ultra-aged, hand-signed rarity — among the oldest single malts ever released.
