Valpolicella Cavedini 2023

Corte Cavedini is a small, family-owned winery founded in 1996 by Umberto Cavedini, farming the Valpolicella hills of Veneto on calcareous soils suited to the region's native varieties.

The 2023 Valpolicella is a blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, fermented and aged in stainless steel to focus entirely on fruit purity and freshness.

It opens with aromas of ripe cherry, redcurrant and a touch of dried rose. The palate is bright and juicy, with soft tannins carrying fresh strawberry, plum and a hint of sweet spice, finishing clean and lifted. Classic Valpolicella — uncomplicated yet full of charm — perfect with pasta al pomodoro, pizza margherita or grilled sausages.
