Highland Park distils on the Orkney island of Kirkwall, the northernmost distillery in Scotland, where wind-scoured heather peat and slow, cold maturation combine to produce the house's signature "sweet-smoky" style. Balanced honeyed sweetness, gentle aromatic peat and rich sherried oak have made Highland Park one of the most consistently decorated distilleries in Scotch whisky.

Highland Park 15 Year Old "Viking Heart" is presented in an embossed ceramic decanter and matured in a high proportion of first-fill European oak sherry-seasoned casks for warm, spicy depth, balanced by first-fill American oak sherry casks that bring layers of sweet vanilla, with a small measure of refill casks for added smoothness.

The nose is opulent and spiced, with crème brûlée, heather honey and crumbled cinnamon giving way to fresh pineapple and sun-kissed lemon zest. The palate carries sun-kissed peaches, toasted cinnamon and gentle heather peat smoke, finishing smooth and lingering with soft peat and citrus zest.
