Four Roses Original

Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky is unique among American whiskey producers for maintaining ten distinct bourbon recipes — five mashbills, each fermented with two proprietary yeast strains — rather than the one or two most distilleries rely on. Founded in 1888, the distillery's Spanish mission-style buildings and light, floral house character set it apart within the bourbon category.

Four Roses Original brings together all ten of the distillery's recipes in a single blend, matured in new charred American oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV. It is designed as an accessible, everyday introduction to the Four Roses style.

The nose offers ripe fruit, delicate floral notes and gentle spice; the palate is soft and smooth with fresh pear and apple; the finish is mellow and lingers pleasantly.
