Wild Turkey 81 Proof Bourbon

Wild Turkey is a historic Kentucky bourbon house based in Lawrenceburg, known for full-flavoured, high-rye bourbons matured in heavily charred, "alligator char" American oak barrels.

81 Proof is crafted from a mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley, and aged 6–8 years — longer than most bourbons in its class. The higher rye content and deep char give it a bold, spice-driven character at a lower, more approachable proof than Wild Turkey's flagship 101.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Caramel, vanilla and toasted oak.

Palate: Sweet corn, cinnamon and a touch of dried fruit.
