Jose Cuervo Gold Especial Reposado

Jose Cuervo is the world's best-selling tequila, produced at the historic La Rojena distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco - the oldest active distillery in Latin America, founded in 1812.

Especial Gold is made from blue Weber agave grown on the Cuervo family's own estates and double-distilled in a continuous column still. Under Mexican regulations it is classified as a mixto rather than a 100% agave tequila, meaning a portion of its sugars come from non-agave sources, giving it a softer, more approachable, mixable style than Cuervo's 100% agave Tradicional range.

Tasting notes: sweet, subtle agave on the nose, with hints of oak and vanilla on the palate, finishing clean and smooth.
