Tomatin Manzanilla Sherry Collection Limited Edition

The Tomatin Manzanilla Edition was distilled in 2014 and bottled at 10 years old. It spent its final two years in butts that had held Manzanilla, the pale, bone-dry sherry aged by the sea in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Manzanilla casks are rarely used in Scotch, and they bring a distinctive savoury, saline edge to Tomatin's soft, fruity house style. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and at natural colour.

A brilliant dram from Tomatin for sherry lovers, and a fascinating contrast to the richer Oloroso- and PX-matured malts most people know.
