Clase Azul Guerrero Mezcal 700ml

Clase Azul's mezcal range extends the house's hand-painted ceramic decanter artistry beyond tequila into Oaxaca-style agave spirits, working with agave varieties native to Mexico's mezcal-producing states.

This expression is crafted from Papalote agave native to the humid highlands of the state of Guerrero. As a mezcal rather than a tequila, it is 100% agave and distilled using traditional artisanal methods distinct from tequila production, even though it is listed in our Tequila category alongside the rest of Clase Azul's range.

Tasting notes - Colour: crystal clear with light straw highlights. Aroma: grapefruit zest, freshly cut wood, rosemary and toasted peanuts, with faint hints of butter and daisies. Palate: freshly cut wood, seaweed, lemon juice, pepper and light notes of tobacco.
