Lochlea Our Barley

Lochlea is an independent, family-run farm distillery in the Lowlands of Ayrshire, founded in 2018 by Neil McGeoch on the farm where the poet Robert Burns once lived and worked. Barley for the whisky is grown on the surrounding 222-acre farm.

Our Barley is Lochlea's flagship core single malt, launched in July 2020 and made entirely from barley grown on Lochlea Farm. Production Director John Campbell uses a combination of first-fill bourbon, Oloroso sherry and STR (shaved, toasted, re-charred) casks, bottling at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered with no added colouring.
