Azamor 2018 `Selected Vines` Reserve

The Azamor Selected Vines 2018 is a masterfully crafted red blend from one of Portugal’s most exciting wine regions. Produced on the low-vigour hillside sites of the Azamor estate, this vintage is a "best-of-the-best" selection from the vineyard’s premium parcels. By blending the structure of Syrah with the local heritage of Touriga Franca and the deep color of Alicante Bouschet, winemaker Alison Luiz-Gomes has created a wine that is both powerful and incredibly refined.

Aged for 12 months in a combination of French and American oak, the 2018 vintage balances concentrated black fruit with a sophisticated, spicy complexity. It is a rich, fruit-forward wine that offers the warmth of the Alentejo sun with the elegance of high-altitude viticulture.
