A rare and vintage expression of Heathcote Shiraz from one of Victoria’s most distinctive terroirs. This 2009 vintage shows a deep, intense purple‑red hue with aromas of ripe dark plum and black cherry, complemented by savoury spice, subtle liquorice and gentle oak influence. On the palate it’s medium‑to‑full‑bodied, with concentrated dark fruit characters, fine‑grained tannins and an elegant, slightly savoury finish that reflects the ancient red soils and warm, dry climate of Heathcote. It’s a wine that balances power with poise, ideal alongside rich red meats or hearty dishes.
