This expression, Lochlea Our Barley, was first introduced in July 2020 and serves as the distillery's flagship core offering. Remarkably, every drop of this exquisite whisky is exclusively distilled from the farm-grown barley, underlining its commitment to local agriculture and artisanal production methods. The production utilizes an innovative approach, combining first-fill bourbon casks, Oloroso sherry casks, and STR (shaved, toasted, re-charred) casks. This meticulous cask selection contributes to the whisky's deep complexity.
