Over the past few years, Lochlea's seasonal small batch releases have showcased their signature style in four different ways. As a working farm, these expressions tie-in with exactly what is happening at that time of year.

Sowing Edition (Third Crop) is the first in a new and final set of four limited editions, marking the end of their Seasonal trilogy. Matured in 100% fresh 1st-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, these casks are 9 months older than those used in Sowing Edition (Second Crop), and the difference is incredible!

This whisky really highlights the floral aromatics associated with distilling in the colder months.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Almonds, rose petals
Palate: White pepper, a vibrant burst of apple blossom
Finish: Warm straw, fresh grass
