From the cooler Balhannah subregion of the Adelaide Hills, this 2018 Shiraz is refined, perfumed and beautifully structured.
The nose opens with dark cherry, blackberry and plum, layered with cracked pepper, violet and subtle oak spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied yet concentrated, with fine tannins and vibrant acidity providing elegance and lift. Notes of black fruit, savoury spice and gentle earthiness carry through to a long, poised finish.
A sophisticated, cool-climate Shiraz that pairs superbly with roast lamb, game dishes or aged cheeses.
