Only 232 bottles were drawn from this exceptional cask, presented here at robust cask strength (63.5% ABV) without chill-filtration, allowing the spirit to express its full intensity and texture.
On the nose, expect a lively and fragrant profile with bright fruit and malt-driven cereals, alongside subtle oak spice and citrus highlights. The palate delivers rich, concentrated malt sweetness with hints of dried fruit, honeyed barley and gentle vanilla, underpinned by warming oak and gentle peppery spice. The finish is long, warming and expressive, with echoes of baked orchard fruit and toasted oak lingering beautifully.
This release will particularly appeal to fans of robust, youthful single malts that favour intensity, depth and cask strength expression, as well as collectors seeking a rare Speyside single cask bottling from one of the region’s less commonly bottled distilleries.
